getting settled

Well, little by little routine is entering our lives and that does wonders for helping you feel more settled. The boys started kindergarten this week and looked very cute in their uniforms. Tyler is loving it and Nate is getting there slowly - I think he has forgotten that he ever spent hours on end in nursery in the UK when we were running MOMIJI!
The weather is finally cooling down a little, having said that it was 30 degrees today.
Hope all our former customers are well, drop me a line if and when you have time.

  1. Hi Charlotte. Hatty here. Jayne forwarded your latest email to me. I'm glad to hear Taka has a job he is enjoying. We are all thoroughly envious of the amazing food you're describing. Its making the pull of Japan even stronger for me!

The boys look gorgeous in their little uniforms. Its good they're settling in.

The paper you gave me as a leaving gift has almost all been used up. It is all so beautiful, I had a job keeping it away from Barry and Jayne!! Thank you once again for everything- not just the paper but the fantastic job that was stressful at times but always enjoyable. For a first proper job I think i was thoroughly spoilt! I am enjoying University in Maidstone and have somehow already come to the end of the first section of work. Its all so fast paced- I hardly have time to think! I would like to send you something of my work in the next few months if you don't mind. If you could send me your address it would be good to attempt writing something in Japanese to you (this is if you have the patience to make sense of it!!)

Send my love to Taka, Nate and Tyler. I'm so happy that you're getting on so well. Take care,

    Hatty xxxx
